Best Dab radio?
« on: July 01, 2016, 08:15:06 am »
Window cleaning is driving me nuts so time to listen to music again. My ipod batteries don't last that well. Any recommendations for a radio?

I listen to radio podcasts.

Saves battery in your phone not having to use the Internet.

Don't get the one I have. It's crap. Batteries last less than three hours.

I went for quite an expensive model of personal DAB radio and it was worse that the radio on my existing MP3 player which was getting old and tired, so I sent it back. Heard good things about the Sansa Clip Zip and Clip Sport. So got one and the FM radio on it is way better than the DAB was. To date it's been excellent. The built in battery lasts over a day on a full charge.

I use a Sony Ericsson MW600 bluetooth handsfree with built in fm radio. Its great i can either listern to phone audio such as podcasts or my personal music collection or switch it onto the fm radio mode. Main plus for me is you never miss any calls and you dont have to stop working to talk to potential new customers or mate/the mrs. They are reasonable to on ebay. Battery is brill too.

I'll steer clear of that one then.
Cheers.

This is the one I use.  I would miss it if I left it at home. Roberts DAB radio.   Don't bother with the cheaper ones as they tend to loose signal.  This one never fails me and there is an fm option if I'm in
a bad area.  Battery last ages and I just charge it again every two days.  Nice and small fits into pocket.  The earphones are a bit crap so I bought a bose earphone set.  Better for staying fixed in your ear.
