Has anyone got a break tank to feed there booster pump to R.O ?

Im thinking of getting a bog standard 200 litre water butt fed from the top from the mains with a ballcock then on the bottom the booster pump can suck the water out and push it through the filters and R.O ...

Did you know that its illegal to install a booster pump from the mains if your drawing off more that 12 l/m ?

Yes, but didn't know that put a proviso of 12 LPM on it though.

Same rule apply to using a pressure washer as it puts undue stress on water pipes. That is one of the reasons why high flow lpm pressure washers suck from a buffer tank instead.
