best product to remove (if possible) biro from yellow vinyl dining room chairs in rest home, have tried the usual citrus gel and solvex ?

It's easier to get biro off leather than vinyl! Can be difficult. On a couple of jobs and as a last resort the only thing that lifted it was cif. Not ideal but it worked. Just use a cotton bud if just one line, and what ever you do don't use solvents as it could damage it more and even make a hole (if a cotton bud is used over aggressively). Give me leather any day.
