People on here change their names so often that I generally don't have a clue who's saying what.  There's someone who's changed his name about ten or fifteen times in the few years I've been on here, pretty much whenever people realise that he's a tedious bore and stop replying to him.  Pretty pathetic, really.

We thought hard and decided to stick with the window cleaning; I doubt there's many jobs/businesses that provide the flexibility that ours does.

I guess from time-to-time the monotony of it all becomes the biggest challenge.

Funnily enough the reverse is true.  The higher we work, the more safety precautions we take.  It's the bloke with the ladders cleaning windows who're most at risk.  Pylon painters are secured at all times with fall arrest equipment.

Sackable offence if they didn't.  I also did some research on how many pylon painters die; you can find them, but mostly  - if not all - historic, and this company has never had a death in it's 30 year history.

You gave pylon painting a go then?
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

No, we didn't in the end.  One of the major reasons why we didn't is that we have an elderly dog and it wouldn't be fair to him to juggle him about with dog carers.

And then in 10 years would we still be fit enough to pylon paint?  I will (Allah willing) be fit enough to clean windows.

So we didn't in the end; we decided to keep things simple.
