You could use it on just about everything ... just its not the most efficient tool for every situation imo .
Compare to a cfr there is less flushing action on really dirty fabric , the less pointy head is not as good at nooks and crevices or sharply rounded bits and i like a tool to spray out a bit to get into similar areas .
Only after using it will pros and cons be apparent , but then there are advantages also .

I have used the Sapphire in almost every conceivable circumstances and have found it deficient in none. I've heard people say you can't go round corners with the ss and you can't do this that and the other, all of which is cobblers to me. Like any other tool, it won't go round corners on it s own, or without using the right technique, like any tool, you need to learn how to use it.
