little idea for adding extra pole hose for backpack jobs.
« on: March 27, 2016, 02:39:58 pm »
as i was fitting my univalve on friday i thought of an idea to quickly add extra pole hose to my day to day pole for a few backpack jobs.

what ive done is cut the pole hose near the connector that goes to my microbore and added a JG fitting.when i want to add extra pole hose ill simply disconnect it,add the extra hose and another JG fitting on the other end and ill have the extra hose so i dont have to move the backpack as much.

i have a row of 4 cottages on a canal bank(awkward access for the van)so this set up will be ideal.coupled with a univalve.i reckon im on to a winner! :)
price higher/work harder!

I do something similar with my trolley. Pole hose is so light I sometimes carry another short coil over the hook on the handle for that odd awkward access job.

Indeed, JG push fit type fittings come in very handy for extending and/or repairing pole hose quickly.
