Marks from furniture replacement
« on: March 24, 2016, 10:02:15 am »
Hi.

Erm I've left some rust marks from replacing furniture back onto a wet carpet.

Noob mistake number 1 I had forgotten my training

Legs are wood with a silver looking metal stud.

Apparently  the  marks are size of 2p coin under every leg.

Can it be corrected?

If its rust then rust remover will remove it easily. Craftex is the best on the market. If its rust and tannin or varnish from the wood then its a whole new ball game and can be impossible to remove. Always use foils or plastic tabs under furniture legs and polystyrene blocks under big flat cabinets.

The legs are wood but have metal studs so hopefully it's rust.

If it's not well then I guess that's that lol.

She says the marks are all the same like 2p size so hopefully it's rust would have thought if varnish they would be the size of the wood leg or more inconsistent

Thanks John
