I wouldn't touch them with ladders, I had to do one for a customer and told
him the only way I would do it was with a cherry picker. He agrred to pay the
cost and I got the local council to hire one for an hour, cost £50 for the hour.
40 ft up you defenately a goner if you slip, be safe.

most platforms you need a licence to use, just basically a day course.I currently hold one for a genie platform. But the other alternative is telescopic lance attached to powerwasher and a gutter cleaning attachment, where abouts is the job, which town, may be able to help, if its not to high thanks dougster

dont live anywhere near you, so here goes, have a look on northern tools website first.have you got a power washer. then you need a lance.then the gutter attachment for the lance , and not forgetting a safety sighn just incase these gutters are full od crap, and it all comes over board.really you need to tape area off first
there is a lot of other things u can use you lance and machine for if u had to go and buy one.upvc apex cleaning conservatory roofs and brick cleaning,so u would get more use out of it in different jobs thanks dougster feel free to email me if you need more D

Would need to see the job to be able to see what type of access machinery you would need but you can always as the rep to come and look at the job and cost it for you, that parts is free.
