Do you think agitating is as important when using an intank cleaner such as F90 as opposed to plain water??

Not as important with f90 but yes with micro splitters. I only use f90 as problem solver and still pre spray and agitate.
I love Alltec tlc and um combo

Agitation is important but like Pre Vac it often gets missed out

Especially if you use portables you need to make more of a show

So Test, Pre Vac . Pre Spray agitate Extract ,  individual stain remover if none pretend  Groom Put Furniture on Foil Tubo Dry etc   You are in SHOW BUSINESS

Agitation is key to me and i use a victor 300 with brush and it doe's a great job but it also shows you as your agitating what is shifting with your pre-spray and what might need spotting if it looks good after agitation you know how well it's gonna look extracted. You can also LM clean under the sofa etc and put straight back  :)
