New to truck mount
« on: January 21, 2016, 09:00:41 pm »
Evening all ,

I have picked up a cleaning contract that gives me a large volume carpet cleans , I feel it would be better to have a truck mount .
Where can I go and lease one complete with van or get the mount and get the van and get fitted by the supplier ?
Thanks in advance

try ALLTEC,  Chris Thomas is an excellent bloke to deal with and has a vast knowledge of truckmounts, they are based in fowlmere near Royston so probably not to far for you to travel. give them a ring

I will sell my Truckmount shortly as i am upgrading. It's a Maxx 450 diesel in a 05 Fiat Ducato.
It's got 250ft of hose and everything you need to get you started ( CFR upholstery tool, wand, stair tool etc)

Email me at steamplus2013@gmail.com

Sub-contract it for the first 12 months to see how you get on, all goes well and contract is extended you can look at buying or leasing then.
You don't want to get lumbered with a long  expensive lease on equipment you are not using.

Truckmount has done just under 3000 hours wich is nothing for a Maxx 450 ( it's water cooled ), it's been serviced twice in the past 12 months at Alltec including belts, pump oil, engine oil, blower oil (got receipts). It needs a new thermovalve (that's  £60)wich i will replace before selling as mine it's stuck open a bit and dumps fresh water.

I'm in High Wycombe and i am away till 30st of January.

If you need more info give ma a call on 07450238343.

Liviu

Hi Guys

I would very much endorse the recommendation of  having a word with Chris at Alltec. He is very knowledgeable and honest and is less than an hours rive from you which in truck mount terms is round the corner.

Cheers

Doug

Thank you all for  taking your time to send me your recommendations. ,

Altec started off ok , got the ball rolling now it's ground to a halt , for 2 weeks I've been trying go get a price but the don't seem to want to know

GP cleaners have never rung back.

If I adopted that form of selling for a £15k order I'd go bust !!!!

Are there any other suppliers out their ?
