Steven Nuclean is safe on conny roofs its the only stuff I use now will even clean off litchin  ( stiffer the brush the better ) you will prob still get odd stains that wont come off guttering but the shine is unbelievable . If you drip it onto windows it wont do any harm I even use it to clean windows trad and as an additive to wfp water .

i dont think u can beat cleaning upvc buy hand for qualty of finish wfp does a ok job but hand cleaning gives it the xfactor  ;D i get its a case wether u wana rush it wfp and do a ok job or hand clean and get it gleaming  8)

wfp and virosol does a good job  on add ons and  i try and charge as much as i can and clean them in a quick time.i always aim for £50-£60 an hour whether its an old dears bungalow or a millionaires house.

however certain black marks dont come off.this is where magic erasers and cream cleaner come in but unless its ground floor plastic within easy reach i dont bother as i cant be bothered climbing the ladders as it adds a lot of time to a job and  it could take you an extra hour to get all the black marks off.(ok if you ve factored this into the price and are charging a really high price)otherwise no.

theres nothing worse than say charging £60 for a UPVC clean and taking 3 hours to clean it cos your messing about cleaning by hand.if you know your gonna get the ladders out then you gotta charge a lot more because its UPVC restoration then.

99% of the time wfp does a perfectly acceptable job.
price higher/work harder!

So paulben, are you really saying Nuclean does not remove common tiger stripes found on a lot of old fascias etc and badly stained/discoloured plastics then?

What does Smurf ? Iv tried a number of different products over the years but haven't found anything yet that will remove all
ingrained marks on upvc without polishing, Like Dazmond I charge to clean the fascia's but if I factored in extra time for
polishing out all the ingrained marks then I wouldn't get the job or get at a price worthwhile.
You can polish them from the ground ( pole fixi clamp and pad ) but its time consuming.
Then you have aluminium gutters and fascia's once they get corroded there's nothing you can do to remove the marks other than repaint.

Reason why I ask I've not found an off the shelf product yet as a pre treatment good enough on really bad plastic restoration jobs. Meaning that does a thorough job removing tiger stripes/discoloured and stained plastic quickly without having to use different products by hand/pole that takes a lot more time and effort to do so.

Seank, I'm still searching for the holly grail of chems so to speak.  I'm also very doubtful if neclean is the anwser to my quest for plastic restoration work as it sounds like a load of metabolics to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiTe0Eq55uE

Did a gutter job today came up lovely and clean . Will not get all marks that have been on gutter for years . Does Virsol  or ubik , and how safe are they if you get dilution rates wrong . Nuclean washes off have even accidently knocked some undiluted into fish pond no harm done ( not much ) how would fish have been with other chemicals

Hi Smurf, just to share NuClean is not recommended for restoration of pvc/upvc surfaces, its a replacement if you want to clean  surfaces using a safer option than traditional type harsh/aggressive cleaners. for restoration of these type surfaces its best to use specific cleaning and polishing pastes. Im not personally into refurbishing fascia etc....I offer a general clean, charge normally £25 a side
on a standard 3 bed terrace...I explain the cleaning process and what it will and wont remove
never get turned away  infact I get repeat work from a lot of it

I plug  wfp into outside tap, bit of fairy on the brush and get on with it, 60-70mins im done

Steven if she has an outside tap connect it to your reel and pole it, I used to hand clean bungalows just because I didn't
find much difference time wise when using pumped pure from the van, there just wasn't enough pressure.
There's no way I would hand clean one again plus no chemicals needed the tap pressure just blasts them clean with a light scrub.
I agree with Sean on this one!
Although I would use a chemical. I like Virosol ( neat, sprayed on brush, rub in, clean off).
I've been using Tadghs Nuclean recently which is a metabolic cleaner and the results are excellent. Brings the plastics up really well.

Does Nuclean remove staining  (tiger stripes etc) without having to use elbow grease Rigsby?
Hi Smurf, i have never come across a product that would remove heavily ingrained staining without having to use some elbow grease, we do have a deep cleaning and polishing paste which is ideal for this purpose of course some elbow grease also needed, if you would like a sample to put it to the test send me an email to info@jskcleaning.ie   Tadgh
