Always found leaving them well alone easier...or charge for taking them down, to the dry cleaners and putting them back up.
Not many takers for this though as usually they can do it themselves.
Did it once for an old lady with no near relatives who couldn't cope with them herself who lived about 1.5 miles from me and half a mile from dry cleaners.
Took them down, to the DC, picked them up 2 evenings later and put them back up and bless her she said I suppose a fiver will cover it. What can one do?
Luckily I put a fiver on the cleaning price so £10...lol......my bit for the community I suppose.
