Every time I've used a rotary, the pads snatch against the carpet. It can be like a wrestling match. No doubt others will have a superior  technique to me  but this is my experience and the experience of every  carpet cleanersI know.

Doesn't flotex have a plastic or rubber impermeable backing, so you can pretty much put down as much water down as you like, without any worry of shrinkage or wick back.

Yes, it would be an achievement to abuse it.

Used a rotary on the stuff myself no problem.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

If you flood it the rotary won't snag the product will act as a lubricant, I would give it one hell of a vac first ideally a contra machine would be the best then turn the heat and pressure up and blast away then do it all again and turbo dry charge more than normal.

My old boss used to use a watering can to apply pre spray.

I spray down ultrapack at 50 to 1 then scrub with a slow speed rotary and brush, rinse out with hot water or even F90 if its realy dirty, but Flotex is just about indestructible

charge more, because flotex absorbs a hell of a lot of crud before it shows....

This takes longer to get out..

I used a rotary all the time (LM only cleaning) and as long as there is enough liquid down on flotex, you will not be fighting the machine.. CRB machine is best for it though....

Shaun... I also used a watering can on flotex...  ;D
