I can see lots of storms coming up for sale   :D

I don't see why, you don't need an immersion heater if you've got a magma, the Storms about 15kg lighter than an Enforcer and Cleansmart aren't a rip off on servicing? Putting a booster through one of the exhausts on the Enforcer wouldn't do a great deal for you either - you'd just be adding lift that would instantly be lost through the other vac that's in parallel? The Storm has a built-in booster port that would give you all 3 vacs in parallel, has anyone tried a Storm with a booster yet?

yes , nothing wrong with cleansmart  , my comment was more about , you know when something new a cool comes out , those that are due a change of machine will be tempted .
But really , its a very well designed and built machine , and leaving it out in all weather is something i would not  be without .
The parallel booster i referred to would loo more like this ... one vac attached to each exhaust .

If there is no heat ie steam mate there would be no point me getting one, as the Storm ticks all the boxes for me but without the inbuilt heater, I carry my mytee turbo hot box and use it most days, but would prefer less hassle of the seperate unit

Well as they dont have that option of heat, they would say that, everyone knows heat always makes the difference !
I used Scorpions for eight mainly without heat, although I did have a drop in heater for when hot tap water wasnt available

Robin. Etm with propane heater would be too expensive. Would prefer to buy proper tm then for a few thousands more.
Do you remember the price of mytee escape? Put the heater there and how much it would be? For 2-3k more you would have a TM.

Anyone remember the price of escape incl vat? And how much is a propane heater and how much does it use per hour?
As actually no cost of servicing/labour cost as easy to service and should be cheaper to run.
How many ampers escape was using on both cables, 4 engines and pump?

The Escape was designed for the US market, and used 4 x HD electros each 1650w so technically not legal in the uk. Propane heaters such as the little giant are used frequently in the US for not only portables but also for the Judson TMs.

Basically all is needed is similar specs to the top of the range portables here in the uk but with larger tanks and a little giant water heater this would give performance up to 200ft at a push and heat up to 110 degrees c. It would cost only a little more because of the cost of producing larger tanks and the extra for a propane heater around £1000. It could run from 2 cords easily.

The escape was around £5000+vat and the heater was just a lpg heater which heated the water in the tank and drew it through a pump the heater was over priced in my opinion.

I nearly bought an Escape from woodbridge back in june, cost was £4000 plus vat, not bad for a truckmount, but then I started asking a few guys who had them and it turns out they were nothing but trouble, most had to totally re wire them as they constantly blew fuses

Will never happen as it was abused by a supplier. And private messages aren't private the forum runners can see them.
