Release {Premiere Products)

Has anyone used this product?

I came across it about 3 months ago whilst doing an EOT and was given a 5 litre container by the guy (third party) I was working for.It was just lying about in the kitchen.

I have had it in the shed ever since.

As I'm not busy at the moment I have been doing a bit of research and tried this stuff on a badly worn/soiled area in front of a sofa today.I mixed at about 25 to 1 presprayed and agitated then a really good rinse.I was really surprised at the outcome.Probably the best result I have had in such a situation.

Have I found the Holy Grail ;D ;D or was it beginners luck.

I am surprised its Woolsafe approved being PH11

Says on the website it can be used for bonnet cleaning as well - looks like it has isopropyl alcohol in it to boost it - not sure how the detergent residues are fixed if its bonneted - maybe it crystalises.

used it years ago, was good stuff, but had optical brightners in it then, not sure about now, but premiere products have been bought out by Bunzl, I know the factory is being sold, I don't know what else is happening with it though

Don't know the product but most janitorial manufacturers have a range of products for every situation. I have found in the past they have usually been ok but not on a par with main industry products. Products from companies like Chemspec and Prochem are made specifically for our industry and are under constant development.

I have used Premier seals, strippers and top coates and although they do the job they are not a patch on Chemspecs hard floor products such as tight shine

I used Release many years ago (mid 90's), I got it from a mate of mine who was a school caretaker, and had loads of the stuff that he let me have for free, to clear his stock room out... Never found it anywhere else, but then this was the days before the interwebs..  :o
I really like it, and thought it did a very good job, especially as in those days most cleaning was done with the solution in tank, and just using a porty with single vac motor, and low psi pump..

Goodness how times have changed... I suspect that with pre-spray and good agitation, it would be very good. So long as it was rinsed off properly....  ;D
Everyday this forum slips further from God.  :'(
