We've had an Alltec Evolution for a year and it has performed faultlessly.  It has twin vacs and in-line heater (as well as immersion heater in solution tank). Very solidly built - will easily run 3 lengths of hoses. Only downside is that it is incredibly heavy..

Tim

I am sure you understand that the reason Tm's are so power full is the hose runs. you need the high heat so the water is hot when it reaches the wand and the power to recover it.

The massive advantage we porty users have over TM's is our costs are lower giving a price advantage or profit which ever you choose.

TM's can be used in marketing but most people dont care after all a clean carpet is a clean carpet however its cleaned. claims otherwise are dubious. the use of the right products will ensure a healthy clean.

One area that a TMs is better is commercial work if thats you thing then dont compromise.

rob, thanks, im looking at the evolution, are you saying 75 foot is good??   i use  100 ft now and then with my storm (no heat) and it works very well, i just fancy some heat/steam at the end of my wand, (been watching too many you tube clips)!!!!!

Tim, one thing, do not buy a machine with inline heater inside the machine, as water will cool down on longer hose run. Better the one like magma heater as you can use it close to the wand.
Just immersion on the machine.

Why not put a heater in the Storm tank, have a duel switch on vac 2 so either the heat is on or the vac, this will keep it down to 2 cables from the machine. Pre heat a tank of water while you prep and then use a magma nearer the wand. When I used an in tank heater I just kept it topped up so the heater could keep pace. I personally would put immersion heater in a tank in the van and heat that before leaving for the job, with insulation it should keep hot for ages and then an inline heater nearer the wand.

Ok no one will probably do this but it would be an off the shelf quad 6.6

Buy the new Ashbys enforcer ' storm ' edition    ... with the twin exhausts
The Airflex booster POD is now on offer at 299  ...  get two of those and strap them together
Connect each booster pod to each exhaust port  ...
Cables ....  u could get all running on two really

Quad 6.6

Two booster pods  ....  running on one 2.5mm extension cable

The Ashbys storm  .... running on another 2.5mm extension cable ( kept at about 300psi should be fine amp wise ... or select lower pump when ordering )

Ashbys storm onboard immersion heater .... plug into one of the  two extension leads u have going to the van while u are setting up or drinking coffee

And close to the wand on a second circuit  ....   inline heater

I'm just saying 75ft is the most I can confirm that the machine runs well with - although the vast majority of the time we are running 25 or 50ft.  I think Alltec actually recommend their triple vac machine if you routinely want to use long hose runs. Heat at the wand has never been a problem for us.  Just bear in mind the evolution weighs 62 kg empty, so it's a two man machine unless you have level access to the job.
