I have a westpak 175- 4 jet wand and a green glide, ( holed ) on the instructions that came with the glide it states not to seal the glide yet other more experienced carpet cleaners recommend sealing to improve lift. Does anybody have any views on this?

If it's one of Lisa's genuine Green Glides - it should fit like a glove and there should be no necessity to apply any sealant. Ever tried going for the slotted as opposed to the holed version - far better in my opinion
