WEll my time has come for my knee replacement operation  on  Thursday finished most of my round bar 5 custies  But I could not give a stuff. I have seen the true colours of many so called customers. I will have to rebuild up my round when I am back but there are a few who can take a hike as far as I am concerned. It`s my second operation in this year and I have paid dearly with customers. I have lost half of my business this year. But will rebuild when back. Have a  Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy new year. To all the chaps on here. Chears.
P.s I must be the first window cleaner working on crutches.

I wish you well with your op. Once they have replaced it you need to work through the pain barrier to get it working.
I've seen those on the round that did and those that didn't. The ones that did are so much better off than the ones who didn't.

Best wishes to you Slap Bash.  I'm not surprised to hear about some of your customers.  About 12 years ago, I lost a large chunk of work to a long, but temporary, health problem.  I have to say though that a lot of them were really good about it too.

isnt there someone who could look after your work while your recovering,?  would be a shame if you had to build it all up again,
perhaps you could rent it out for a percentage?

If it's any consolation I'm having to go see a specialist tomorrow but I do hope it's not the same one I insulted a while back when he tried to haggle me down on a job I did for him. I think I said something like "I'm fed up dealing with your kind". Now thinking about it was not a wise thing to say really especially if he happens to be surgeon doing the operation  with those sharp knives and things

All the best in your op, I know what it's like as I have already had 3 major ops on both my ankles over the last 4 years, I'm now on the waiting list for a leg amputation.
