Damage to the wheels? Your going to far.
You must be talking about polished rims, not standard alloys. :)

On many ocassion you even need very acidic cleaner to get rid of all the brake dust and more.
Hi Radek, i am talking about standard alloys, you can remove the heaviest of brake dust from alloys with  product's that you don't even need to wear gloves with, if you used an alloy wheel cleaner based on sodium hydroxide without wearing gloves you would chemically burn your skin as well as the alloys, my point is why use such harsh and aggressive cleaning chemicals when really there is no need to if there are safe alternatives that will do the same job but without causing damage to the surface they are being used on.

Tadgh

Can you let me know what the "safe" alloy wheel cleaner is please?

Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve, yes its a natural cleaning and polishing paste which you apply with a damp Terry microfiber cloth to remove the heaviest of brake dust from alloy wheels, its safer and more effective than any alloy wheel cleaner based on sodium metasilicate, sodium hydroxide, or hydrochloric acid, we also promote a product called Beyond-Kleen which can be applied to clean alloy wheels and it will prevent brake dust from baking onto alloy wheels its so effective that after being applied to alloy wheels you can actually dry clean your alloys just using a dry Terry microfiber cloth, as we don't have a shopping cart up if you would like more information you can email info@jskcleaning.ie or call me on 00353 87 9406650  regards Tadgh

Sorry Steve, meant to add if its just light to medium brake dust you are trying to remove we have a range of non-caustic,non-corrosive,non-toxic, cleaning solutions which you can spray onto alloy wheels to remove brake dust without causing any detrimental damage to the alloys, same contact details if you would like any further information.  Tadgh

What is a special thing your polishing paste has? As if its just polishing then it would be nothing special. So I presume there are some special ingredients.

Hi Radek, yes its a special paste that you can use to clean and polish many types of surfaces but excellent for alloy wheels, its derived from vegetable extracts, glycerine, almonds, and of course some other special ingredients. Tadgh

Phosphoric Acid Substitute diluted 4:1 makes a fantastic job of alloy wheels.  We sell loads of it specifically for that purpose we also sell loads of it to Bikers for cleaning their aluminium casing up on their bikes :D :D :D
