How Should I Remove the Paint from these UPVC Frames?

Hi,

Could anyone please advise me how I should go about removing the paint from these UPVC frames. It looks likes like someone couldn't be bothered with covering the UPVC whilst painting the exterior walls!

Solvent and a scourer pad, then be prepared to "CIF" the whole section down.

Thanks all for your advice. I found the following on eBay which will probably do the trick:

I haven't committed to doing the job but I will quote a decent price if the customer is unwilling to do it himself & really wants it done.

Don't think that will help you much, paint is not a stain, and that exterior paint is very difficault to remove.

You could use thinners, but run a risk of damaging the upvc, you can get little plastic scrapers that remove paint really well

 I would walk away from that one without even thinking about it, if you damage the UPVC, they will blame you, if you spend a
 long time working on it with chemicals without success, they could  be reluctant to pay.

Small scraper and some tesco brillo pads for 30p
Charge around £30 to £40 per window to make it worth while .

For paint splater on plastics, glass etc I've used a steamer before and must say it worked rather well.

Yes mate. It's called enviromose pro, they sell it to b&q in a weker version.
