keeping up with the joneses
« on: August 10, 2015, 07:01:53 pm »

I have been asked to clean some indian sandstone on a patio at rear of a house , along with block paving and flagstones on drive.

The lady who asked me for quote wants it all sealing with a quality sealer which will leave a wet look finish, her reasons as she delicately explained to me" don't let the neighbour's see you looking at it ,They have everything so pristine and perfect and I want to show then my drive is just as good"  .
I have yet to give her the quote, as I explained will look into the best product to suit her, I already said  I will power wash,  application of Hypo to remove lichen , which by the way she was impressed with as the neighbour has it on his and then seal.

She does not want a cheap sealer and price  does not appear to be too much of a problem to her.
My question is would the best option be to go for resiblock? would this enhance the concrete pavers? hence using same product and if not resiblock ,what would you suggest.

Resiblock superior gloss for the blocks, never sealed indian sandstone before as i prefer the regular maintenance cleans :)

I would always go for a quality penetrating sealer, avoid acrylic sealers if you want a top class job IMO
