We have  a Oreck use it on the odd occasion  would rather use the full sized rotary.

The daughter and wife don't like it.

If you need a new rotary try and look for a full sized one much more adaptable

Have a look on eBay or try   http://www.a3machines.co.uk/

The 2 are virtually the same machine and all Oreck brushes ect fit the Fmac, the Floormac is cheaper though

Personally I would go with the oreck if I had to choose between them.   We purchased a few Taski Rotaries 15" the 17" pads fit them which allows for overpassing and cleaning right up to the skirtings.  Fantastic on commercial jobs  and comes with a solution tank too.  For us just the right size and weight and you cover large areas of floor space in no time (dynamall works great with it).

not owned an oreck but im on my second floor mac, personal opinion, great for stairs, great for agitating one room  if you dont feel the need to get your big guns out, also good for tight areas, landings etc etc,  nice bit of kit, i dont use it on every job by any means, but its nice to see it there on the van.... paid for itself many moons ago...........
