I've had the same experience. The first 12v 26ah battery in my freedom trolley lasted about a year and a half. I've had about 5 that lasted about 11-12 months. The last one lasted just over 9 months.  I'm now trying a CTEK mxs 5.0 charger to see if it improves battery life.

i use my backpack all day, it came with a 12v 9 amp battery but i get mine from an agriclutural supplier they are 12v 6 amp for torches or fire alarms but ive asked gardiners & they said they should be ok ive been doing this for nearly 5 years & all batteries have lasted at least 9 month but these last 3 are all dying out after about 4 hrs, thats not actual on the glass time thats just me being out
ive checked all the internal connections & im proper stumped, had to order a new v3 for next week
