handing out business cards
« on: May 02, 2015, 10:02:25 pm »
hi  just sharing ideas about handing out business cards . just wondering if it's me or what? When working on the glass I get asked  quite a lot (from people walking past )for my business card .
the thing is that very few of them  ever contact me ( probably less than 10%) unless  they're moving out and need a one off clean.
I've now started  when asked for a business card to pretend not to have any on me and ask them where they live ,what kind of service they would like, a phone number and I say that next time I'm round I'll have a look and text them a quote.
in my case I seem to have a much better response ( probably around 40%) .
just wondering about you?
cheers

Doesn't work. About 1% ring back. Even with a leaflet/card.

Customers needs to be spoon fed.

Ask for their address, and go round and quote.

+1.   People just can't be Rsed.  Our rule is that anyone who asks our chaps have to get their phone number and pass it to me so I can go and do a quote.
