I think people shouldn't get hung up on equipment. I see customers every day with a variety of equipment from tiny Karchers to large truckmounts.
I don't recommend cleaning carpets with a Karche Puzzi but at least a twin vac machine. However what I do observe is no matter what equipment is utilised the successful cleaners are good businessmen. That is the main criteria in my view to be successful at carpet cleaning. Being able to make the phone ring and developing a customer base of good customers.
