l have small domestic cleaning company, but sometimes we are cleaning carpets due end off tenancy cleaning. l use Craftex Sabrina 5000. I am cleaning carpets 1 year and last customer said that agency is not happy with carpet cleaning quality.
Agency sent picture about what is good quality of carpet cleaning.
They emailed
Re the professional carpet cleaning, please see attached photos showing the quality of clean that comes up with our recommended carpet cleaning company, it also removes furniture marks from the
pile
What should l say them?
Thank you

Tell them that no self-respecting professional carpet cleaner would leave a carpet looking like that and if they think that is what a professionally cleaned carpet should look like then they know zilch about carpet cleaning!!!!

did it look like that when it was laid?
maybe wand marks are more important than a clean carpet to them.

It looks well cleaned but the pile shouldn't really be left like that, looks like a job well done but not finished off, pile should be left all the same not like that, but its only a small thing but doesn't take long to do

In the customer / agents minds it proves to them that the carpet has had a good clean, its obviously a complete nonsense but I've had similar situations where the agent has asked why there is no cleaning marks visible on the carpet.
At the end of the day if thats what they want then let them have it, for most customers I would re set the pile with a pile brush.

I agree Steve, most of my customers don't want a carpet left like that so that's why I leave it all the same, but at the end of the day if you've cleaned it properly you don't need to leave patterns in it to prove you've cleaned it.

I used to leave them in until i got two call backs in one week saying that I ruined their carpet as they cant remove the wand marks with their rubbish cylinder vacs. So had to go back and groom them out.
Now I only leave them in if its synthetic.

I've always removed wand marks after cleaning as thats how I was taught and to me looks more professional, I did raise this issue a few months ago and some on here bit my head off, they will remain nameless ! Lol

Is it the wand marks or the overall quality of the clean that they are concerned about?
The Sabrina is not that good a machine. I know with the end of tenancies that I do they are very dirty and there is no hot water on site. You need the capabilities to get the water hot and a good prespray and mechanical agitation. There is little point in putting a wand pattern onto a carpet that has not been cleaned properly in the first place.
If you have not had any training in carpet cleaning then it would be a good idea to invest in some.
