Check for blockages first.

Blockages, or make sure some of the bristles aren't in the way of the jet
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

Dirt in the jet hole most likely. Two ways to cure it- pull the jet pipe off & suck as hard as you can (don't blow). Or get a sewing needle to poke through the jet hole- (you may still need to suck it out though even if you dislodge it with the needle). ;)

Well as chum buckets says. I had the same problem last week and didn't have a clue how to fix it. He advised me well.

I carry spare fan jets. If they annoy me, they go in bin or I switch to Pencil jets  ;)

What could it have possibly been?

The alternator on your van?
