Telemarketing lead generation advice
« on: January 13, 2015, 08:08:30 pm »
Hi all, just wondering has anyone used the services of a telemarketing company to get you new commercial leads and if so did it work and is it worth giving it a try? There is a lady on here who offers that and I wanted to see if it worked for you. Cheers.

Tried her for domestic and got zero.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Thanks for letting me know. I guess it would be better for commercial work. Has anyone else used it for commercial?

We have tried them in the past.  Personal opinion, you can't beat a well designed website on page 1 of google.  Once you start to build up your clients, the referrals start to come in.  Either that or walk into businesses and leave your business card with an intro letter! We've had a lot of success doing this.

I tried late last year, got a couple of leads which lead to one job. They called 100s of companies over 2 4 hour sessions.

There`s no point in doing it until you have everything else in order. A proper plan, a system, doesn't have to be overly complicated. Then yeah it`s worth doing. The girl Becci who had an ad on here is good, in my experience.

Before the Internet Salesmen just walked the Streets as Darren says have a letter and business card.

Some people claim direct mail works .

If you really want Commercial it has to be a weekly job just seeking it out but not many of us want to this as rejection is hard our tender egos

Why not engage Becci agree a spending limit and see what happens if it works you will continue to use her.

£14 per hour seems reasonable but the only contact info would be yell.com or the phone book. Would take me too long to get all that info. I would like someone to say yes it worked as not heard if it works.  ???

I did a campaign in dec 13 , paid about 300 , and got about 800 immediately , plus 3 agents who give me regular work , I will do it again , but right now the websites are easier and cheaper ways of getting a return.

I think it was £16 per hour and they would source the information for you.
