Hey guys, I have a dispatch. 350 bev tank, and at the moment I'm getting lots of condensation on the inside of the roof and sides of the van.  Never had this issue when I had my vivaro for whatever reason.  

Any of you fitted a van roof vent, and if you did, did this sort the problem of condensation inside your van?

You need to find the source of the leaking water that is causing the condensation.

Our brushes get the excess water shaken off of them before they get put back in the van. The hose reel gets unplugged outside the van and a Hozelock female gets put on it. The water hole is filled with silicone so it stops any water drips.

Where we can we leave the doors open to let the van 'breath.'

Occasionally I do dry the roof off with a towel if I notice condensation forming.

There are rotary roof vents - Flettner springs to mind, that do work very well. But you would need one that has an internal shutter that can be switched off. If not, they will also remove any heat within the van. So trying to keep the van from freezing up will be more of a challenge.

Hi Darran
Put one of these in your van, when ever you get condensation, perhaps over night and it will suck out all the condensation.

Thanks for the info guys.  I don't have any water leaking from any pipes or connectors.  Must be coming from the water inside the tank, even though it's all sealed up.

I have the same problem

I used to have a connect with a full factory sealed bulkhead and no condensation formed in the cab. Now i have a dispatch with a 400 ltr upright tank also with a bulkhead with gaps where the sliding door brackets are but get terrible condensation in the front, so much so that i have to squeegy the inside of the windscreen.

I am thinking about getting a roof vent myself....

Vent wont work guys the moistures in the air anyway, I left my doors open all day Sunday and
the roof didn't dry one bit, even though it was a lovely dry day.
I dry my roof at the end of the day and remove the wet brushes, its just a matter of keeping on top of it.

I fitted a vent in my van and it helped a lot, I'd say reduced the condensation on the roof by half or more - adding insulation too fixed the issue completely,..

Heck not sure what to do now apart from wipe the roof of the van every evening... I would have thought the air vent would have worked

all our vans have roof vent including the truck mounts and they work very well 50 pounds new and 30 mins to fit

Its more about getting water boarded every time you stick your head into the back of the van, I have a Dispatch
and its the same, if you don't keep on top of it the amount of condensation that build up is unbelievable.
