varnish ya pole

been out and got some varnish and did my poles other day much better than the cllear coat laquer that i used to use .you can get a thicker coat on lasts longer.any one else tried varnish.

A few have done this with success .
I've only used lacquer that's been ok

paint on you get a thicker coat in one hit and lasts longer

Thanks for that,I've lacquered my pole ,but only lasts a couple of weeks,will give the varnish ago,what varnish did you use ?

never had an problem with it peeling off better than black hands.i  do it when its old if you do it new it may void any claims if owt gose wrong
