Im ordering a water heater and wondering what diffence the 6L ones are from the 8L

8L minus 6L = 2L.

They're rated for a flow rate of 6 litres per min & 8 litres per min - so the 8L one has a higher heat output to come with the flow rate.
The heat is usually very easy to adjust, so both will do the job - you'll just have the dial turned a little lower on the 8L one to achieve the same heat.

Window lickers- you answered asif this was a stupid question? Its not really, i obviously know what the difference between 6L and 8L is but i wondered what it has to do with a lpg heater.
