Pressure Washing Setup
« on: November 28, 2014, 09:56:32 am »
Hey guys

i am usually over on the darkside in the window cleaning section

Im thinking seriously about getting a pressure washing setup, not to be a big time pressure washing business but just so i can do add on jobs in a reasonable time frame, quite a few  customers ask me and the limited capability of little karcher style machines puts me off as i know id be charging them for 2-3x the time because of the machine

So im after getting a petrol pressure washer in the new yr probably just before spring but dont have a clue what to get , id probably be happy to spend about £1k but not sure if thats enough

As a guess i reckon i will only be cleaning about 2-3k a yr of jobs with it so nothing to extravagant, but if i did get offered any decent jobs id like to know my gear is upto the task ....

Any ideas of machines and what spec i would be best going for ???

Thanks in advance
Also if anyone wants a days labour in return for some advice on doing the job id be happy to do that , cheers
sean

Qwashers on eBay

Honda gx390 - fab machine will tackle anything you come across domestically and some commercial works as well. Loads of power so you can cover a large area pretty quickly and does a thorough job to boot

I see your based in Manchester , no need to buy any equipment !

If you speak to Lee (Blastaway) he will loan you his kit for nothing because he loves weekend warriors !  ;D

If you get him on a good day he will do it for you  , for free too !!

Like richy has said, chris scott has a few machines and is only based in southport. If you are only doing it as an add then i wouldn't bother with a new machine, get a decent secondhand one.

Is Christene Snott selling the pressure washing kit because he / she is going solely over to the "gay wash" side of the street ?
