Going to ask a couple of guys on this forum at Christmas time.  I have to work mornings at the moment and so there isn't time.

We have a run of a few windows in a block of flats that are 'troublesome'. We have found that the first pass is the frame above the vents on both the upstairs and down stairs windows.

We then go back to the main upstairs windows and clean as normal, followed by the downstairs windows. We found this works even although they are on a busy road front.

im only learning by trial and error but i tend to clean top frames then to the bottom frames then back up to top to do glass, then to bottom to do glass, then go to other side of house and repeat.

i am doing first cleans however as just starting out, not had the joy of a second clean yet, i cant wait, got to be so much quicker (i hope)

What I do is wash the frames and widows and because I know what I am doing its always clean.

Look at the vents on the downstairs windows. They will most likely be the same as the tops. If they feel loose avoid them or clean above then come back later, maybe a few hours but explain to the custie, they will appreciate it. Also be honest with the customer. I always tell them that the one slight disadvantage with wfp is we leave them wet which means there might be a problem especially on a first clean. tell them to look once dried, any probs, call you.
   If you get called back you can suss out what went wrong and learn. It worked for me.
      If you see another windie out and about stop and chat to him. Believe me they always love to give you advice it makes them feel good. Human nature.
      If the frames are wood and poorly painted just do the glass and recommend they get the frames painted. You could paint them yourself or get a beer from a decorator for referring. Pure water will rot them as well as the rain which is fairly pure.

Buzzing mate, you just need to crack on with the WFP'ing. Youll learn as you go and work it out for yourself.mas you go. The worse than can happen is that you lose a customer for being crap or have to go back and reclean. You'll be a WFP master in a month any old idiot could do the manual part of this job.
