I've ordered a new 6.5 HP petrol engine, it will be getting a jet wash pump fitted onto it. Its electric start, do these usually come with an alternator/dynamo to charge up the starting battery ?

I've looked about for a suitable cradle for the engine to sit on, don't need wheels as it sits in the back of a trailer. Google or ebay are not throwing up anything for me, any ideas for a suitable cradle for it with hand grabs ?


Jet wash pumps........i've a 25 litre tub of ATF sitting about, is that suitable to use in these pumps ?

If it is electric start ,it will/should have a battery charging circuit on it.

Atf would do ...any oil is better than no oil !! The correct oil is a tenner a litre why not use that..?

Another quick question, its arrived. It doesn't have any real documentation with it. What size battery would be best for it ? I quickly googled Motorbike barreries and they go from 4 AH @ £15 to whatever you want to pay..
