Hi John,

Just for your information, Wilton Technology supply three different de scalers.

A/ Descaler ZC 32 which is non hazardous and contains an inorganic acid.

B/ Descaler HG which contains phosphoric acid

C/ Machine Descaler which also contains phosphoric acid.

D/ I have found that ZC 40 Cement and Mortar Residue Remover (which is from the same family as ZC 32) is also an excellent Descaler. ZC 40 also contains an inorganic acid.

If you read the information page on the Wilton Technology site you will see that they compare their Descalers against Hydrochloric Acid based descalers.

I trust that this will clear up any misunderstandings that you may have about the Descalers.

Why not contact Matin Johnson for confirmation of these facts

  I may have speed read my translator  ...  so its phosphoric ...  plenty could be made of the negative effects on health or this too , dont see i as any more ' Eco ' than others that could be used ...

Hey Mike,might try this as my suppliers has no prochem descaler in stock...machine has never been descaled in 7 years.You think i will; notice a different in heat after the one descale?

Flush it through and let it heat up I would put a solution line from the machine outlet QC  into the water box so it flows through the full system,

thinking about it I would let the machine heat up first so the water in the box is hot then add a concentrated solution into the box, let it flow until the colour changes (20mins ish)

Then flush it through with clean water.
