Anyway,  not to go off topic, I'd rather be bashing out the work full throttle, and having the odd natural break than faffing around balancing nozzles, and revs for my machine, if I did that I might have well got a little poxy thing in the first place.

For fitting for the 1" i think you'll be best off with Geka fittings. https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?source=search_app&gws_rd=ssl#safe=off&q=geka+hose+fittings&spell=1

You can get female threaded ones you can match to the thread of the tap/standpipe, then just buy the hose barb ones for your hoses.
