right ive been using back packs a while on and off the thing is ive been using the esr505c when it working its ok.but ive found that after a few months differant stuff start to go wrong i take it back get it sorted few weeks later somthing else ive had 3 in the last 18months i know they are chinesse made  ive amassed alsorts of spare parts but its an on going battle im fed up , i must be an expert in these dam things,so my question is can any one recomend a different model.i supdse they are all c****y made.this model as a  tendancey to leek very quickly .presure switch is prone to pack in and the solderd joints look as though they have been solderd with snot .overall i dont think they are any good for our job.just for light gardining spraying which is realy what they are ment for.

I have two of the Gardiner V1 backpacks one needed the control switch replaced and the other was sent back for a couple of things and returned with the V2 base section which has improvements over the V1.
If I were to buy another I would go for the V2, although two days ago when carrying the pack by the handle it fell off and being full crashed to the ground. So I'm now thinking the V3 might be better due to the handle.

Just build your own there are plenty of videos on Youtube showing you how.
There was a very good one floating about here a while back on building a fold up trolley which would be a lot better
than a backpack and I think it cost around the £100 mark to build.

I find the gardiners backpacks to be cheap chinease rubbish but for the price are still worth it.

ive just been to the suplyer where i get my wfp stuff and had a look at others. they all use the same pump and of course they are all chinesse and all are for garden use surley there must be a gap in the market for one more robust for our job apart from the heavey trolly system

what with window cleaners not wont in to pay more than£10 when claiming to earn £500 aday

i use a john hewitt red top back pack for some work. It seems ok.

I use a gardiner v2 for the odd job here and there.does the job.IMO backpacks are supposed to be for occasional use only.their just not as robust as a proper van system with a shurflo pump and leisure battery.

no need for flow controller. i just let it go full flow and work with it and go quicker.  Not really been using it much but seems fine. you could easily fir a tap on it and have a return back into the lid. I done this previously n then just binned it.

single speed but does not empty as quick the gardeners.no mods needed.never had any problems with mine.on/off switch at bottom but easy to move onto top of trolley.
