Without sounding big headed, money for a pole isnt an issue... just want the best on the market.

Then order an Xtreme and bin the CLX.
My expenses budget wouldn't stretch to an Xtreme but if money wasn't an issue then I wouldn't
even be asking the question.

At 27' I'm not sure extreme is the 'best'
Lightest-yes. Best (IMO) no. It's the slx

Have never used an Xtreme but surely it must be a lot more rigid also.

It is yeah. But they're delicate.
I Think of it as the rolls Royce of poles. You wouldn't just nip to the shop or do the school run in it.

We just got the extreme 25 super super light the only thing I'm finding hard to get used to is you can only clamp in two places on each section.  But you can get 3rd story very easy.

Do you have an Extreme? I have both the Extreme and the SLX, for me there is no doubt the Extreme is a better pole, one of the biggest advantages with the Extreme is the raised clamping sections, meaning extending and collapsing the pole is a lot smoother/quicker, with this in mind and the lightness of the pole I reckon I do an extra £20 - £40 per day of work.

Yes. I have 2 SLX's and an Extreme.
I love the extreme between 30' and 55(ish)' no better pole at that height imo.
Longer, the Swift+ (Ionic) is better.
Shorter, the robustness of the SLX beats the lightness and rigidity of the extreme for me.
But i guess thats why theres a choice, 'cause we will all want different things from poles.

i just use extreme poles all the time.i dont see the point in spending £££s on these poles unless your gonna use them all day, every day.

my extreme 25 is over a year old now used all day, every day.i reckon itll need replacing after 2 years.i can live with that.£265 a year to use the best poles on the market.no brainer for me.

my extreme 47 should last a lot longer(maybe 5 or 6 years)as it only gets used around 10 times a month.
price higher/work harder!
