LPG heater mounting
« on: July 31, 2014, 04:34:06 pm »
Hi
ok...been working 9 yrs with a trolley system (purefreedom trolley-great little piece of kit btw-never let me down) but have decided it's time to move on.
Have ordered 400l system from pure2o which will prob be installed next week. Now looking into buying a heater.
My question is simply how best to mount the heater? Old Pug Expert 52 plate, ply lined, floor newly protektakoted for system fitting. I have seen a pic somewhere of a heater mounted on some sort of bracketry, but not sure where to source or how to fit.
Thanks in advance  :)

i use a bit of plywood screwed into the side of van near the back doors with heat resistant foil over it.i just screw the heater onto it.job done. ;).ive not done it in my new van yet but i will come winter time. :)
price higher/work harder!

best place to mount it would be on the tank frame,

dont screw it onto wood, and fit a flue
