Road sweeper

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a small road sweeper the ones you see the council use, I want to expand my cleaning business.I am looking for someone who has a business like this up and running for some advice.

I used to run my own depot of road sweepers for both pathway right up to truck mount ones... IMO there is little money in them. They used to go out for £17-£25ph with an operator..  There are also many parts that can go wrong and generally you will need an O license.

The only way you will make money is by large private jobs where you can charge a set price.

Its a complete ball ache but if I can help with info at anytime give me shout.. I did it for 10 years.
