Spells in your hands

Anyone else get them off there ladders thinking of getting alimuniom ladders , but a mate recons you get black hands , you can't win  ???

Tripy ,carbon fibre spell , is that from the poles . Or is it ladders . Woudnt think carbon wood be strong enough for ladders . Or are they specsialist .
