Safest PVC cleaner/degreaser
« on: June 28, 2014, 02:31:11 am »
To those who clean a lot of facia/soffits, whats the best cleaner to use that won't stain glass if it dries on it? I've tried UBIK2000 which definately stains, and a couple of other brands, same story. I've never tried Virosol but according to it's MSDS it has a pH of over 11, which suggests to me that it would also stain glass if left to dry on it. Ideally I reckon a neutral pH cleaner would do the trick, but is there a suitable one out there?
Thanks.

Why not just not let it dry on the glass?

barry i use virosol to clean windows as well on really dirty first cleans where the frames are filthy!i dont think virosol stains glass if it dries on but like poleking DONT let it dry!! :)

spray small sections on hot sunny days.
price higher/work harder!

Hi Barryy, i can say with confidence we have the safest and most effective cleaner for facia/soffits, our natural product Power soap will clean facia, soffits, downpipes, frames, etc, safer and better than any high pH chemical thats available, if you are deep cleaning any of these surfaces by hand you can apply power soap to a damp magic eraser pad a just wipe away the dirtiest of soils, then just rinse off the loosened soils with microfiber cloths, if you are working at height just rub the power soap onto the bristles of your preferred brush and proceed to scrub the soiled surfaces to loosen all the ingrained soils, then just rinse with your wfp system, you never have to worry about the product drying onto glass as it rinses off without drying onto surfaces, if you would like more info bang me an email.           regards Tadgh
