I can't recall a job where draft marks were the major reason for the clean, though they are often a part of it.
If managed carefully the issue of draft marks can easily be dealt with as long as you explain that you can only do your best and kill any expectation of complete removal, most people will accept that and I can't remember anyone actually complaining about them when they haven't come out completely, but have been significantly improved.

The issue becomes much smaller if you are equipped with the right tools and it only adds a couple of minute to a job if you have a crevice tool. It is all about being equipped properly for the job that you are doing. Plain and simple.

The trouble is Peter, even with all the right equipment and with the best will in the world, sometimes you just can't get them completely out as they have been there for donkey's years.

I also find in some cases especially around chimney blocks that you end up sucking more dirt/dust/soot up from under the carpet and can be a nightmare.
