A quick pump question
« on: May 29, 2014, 04:15:35 pm »
Hi all,

I have fitted a new shurflo 135 psi pump to a craftex grace machine and it pumps ok for a few seconds at the right pressure and then really slows to almost nothing at all ?

Ive fitted loads in the past but first time this one on the grace, just wondering wether its sounds faulty or im missing something?

Otherwise its gunna have to go back !

Thanks
Steve

Could be the check valve ? Or could be just a blockage

maybe a daft question, but have you checked the intake filter and also is it sitting in the bottom of the tank and not floating on the top of the water?

All sorted now, seemed to be air locked in the pump, but bled and seems happy now !
