I have recently started a car valeting/pressure washing business, looking to add window cleaning but cheap as poss with a trolley setup.



I have a TDS of 160
I want to use a D.I only
is this poss and how much will it cost ?
how many litres of water will i get out of it?

It depends how much water you use.

how much water would a typical 3 bed semi use? just as an estimate

I would ideally start with just a D.I and a trolley until i build my round up.


do d.i vessels require mains pressure for them to work or can i gravity feed the di from my 250l tank on my van into smaller barrels for the trolley?

What size di vessel?
Gravity feed will be painfully slow, be better off mains fed straight into the tank.

Ok cheers. I have a 250l tank on my van for valeting but i dont want to fill that with pure water and waste it on cars

Looks like cost wont be that bad D.I only, i have plenty of 19l barrels i can use for now, i think i will make a diy trolley system as i have an old fishing trolley and a few old fishing poles i can make a wfp out of to get me started

bout 20/25 litres mate once u get hang of it but at beginning as u get feel for it prob more like 35 litres
