Ivy roots on frames.
« on: April 14, 2014, 04:40:42 pm »
Come across this once or twice and just tried to wait it out while they rot but that seems to take several years to happen.  I reckon they'll be using ivy roots as shielding for nuclear reactors in future.

Anyone got a quicker way to deal with them, please?

Thermo nuclear device is what's needed I reckon.  >:( Tried just about everything over the years, and never got it 100% sorted. I'd like any tips.

Apparently Vin has the answer - Shielding nuclear reactors is the only reason for having this stuff - Half life of 1,000,000,000 years

Customer has dropped us for someone who is going to "scrub the frames" and get rid of them.  Good-oh.
