Pump-strange
« on: April 08, 2014, 07:58:33 pm »
Just started using new battery today; same as previous.

Did first job today fine.

Pulled up at second job turned on varistream in pump box; nothing from pump.

recalibrated then was fine all day.

What's that all about?

Because of new battery?

Have the older type varistream controller 1-9+ (b) for booster i think that means.

Callibration on (c) changed to (A)

Oh yes been using aqua tap last few days.

I'm pretty sure that the pump controllers calibration setting can be effected by the charge state of the battery, at least thats what I have found with a couple of varieties of controller.  Thats why I use a pressure switch, it always shuts off at the correct pressure and also switches the pump back on immediately.
