Minging Indian restaurant
« on: March 16, 2014, 10:23:17 pm »
Cleaned an Indian restaurant last week. All went well apart from the walk way out of the kitchen. It was about 1/4 inch thick with grease. Sprayed hot enzall and had to use a scrapper to cut it up and scrape it off. Also used powerburst but wasn`t as effective. Used an old rotary to break up the remains, as didn`t want to contaminate my good one. Is there anything else I could have done better.

a splash of heavy duty soil lifter (from chemspec) to your pre-spray. I also use another citrus booster but HDSL has become my go to booster.

or Mpower  ;D  ;D

p.s. recommend they get a large mat for the kitchen/entrance to the carpet area.

Cleaned the area first then give it  another prespray, then leave it right until the end. So the 2nd pre-spray has a massive dwell time.

The first clean takes off the crust allowing the 2nd pre-spray to penetrate deeper into the crap

I also find a rotary with a scotch rite pad works well.

There really isn't a fixed technique for doing this, sounds like you've done a good job.
The shame of it is the barstewards will let it get into the same condition again before getting it cleaned.
