funny they phoned me today, well 'verification association' did and said they had teamed up with 118trades, i told him i never heard of them and its all alot of rubbish anyway, not interested,

Yeah they offered me a discount for a half A5 page, only wanted £1200! When they call now i just ask them to hold the line and pop back every 5 minutes to see if they have given in yet!!

 i relised this cus when you say your not interested some hang up and dont even waste time saying good bye, cus of course there straight on to the next call. 

so now somtimes i let them go on there sales pitch for 10 mins..   then say NOPE!

118 group and thier "verification association" keep phoneing me.  I have asked them about 10 times to stop but they just don't get it.  I hope nobody ever signs up with them!!

However they did make me laugh the other day, becasue one of them phoned me and said "if you sign up with us, you get a free website, free 0800 number and free advertising for a year."  I asked him, "How much would all this free stuff cost", and he replied, "Just £499 sir!"

I don't think he got it as his command of english wasn't the best.

i was one who joined them a while back on a money back guarantee when i asked for it !! you guess they had changed the rules and said i must wait until the end of the year wghich i did and when i asked again they changed the rules again and said i had to wait two years. they are fraudsters just like local cleaners on the web and all the other internet companies that just want you hard earned money

the BBC did a documentory about estate agents last night, not an entrie supprise to many im sure,

do you think the bbc are aware of these sorts of companies? they should expose them!

Tell them unpoliotly where to go  never blag them off with phone in a couple of days once considered or they do and five times a day every day untill you answer, I havent yet, when will they stop, I must be strong and not answer

I have a pre-pay mobile phone that I never use for anything else. Any rep rings me up, I tell them that they need to speak to my boss, and give them the mobile number.

Works a treat, you would be surprised how many leave a voicemail every single week, and they never ring me on my real phone again!
