I am fascinated at how we think when it comes to making decisions and taking directions in our window cleaning business. This topic is about - does the number of employees we have affect our business decision and the way we see our business?
(types of examples below:)
Some have a website, some do not.
Some think using tracking devices is wrong, some think its crucial to their business?
Some care about H&S and some do not.
Some prefer cloud based technology to sytemize their books, some prefer to keep it in their head.
Some want to grow, some do not.
So, its clear that growth stimulates the necessity of some of the above. But, when do we start to think which is the right business decision for us? Do we have an idea from the beginning? Do we pick it up as we go along? Are we making the best decisions we can make? Or is it all just down to personal choice and employee numbers do not affect anything at all.....?
Think of your own position. If you dont care about this post, how many employees do you have working in your company or are you self employed and happy? if you care about any of the examples given above such as tracking, H&S, etc., why do some fit your business and some do not?
In your opinion, does employee numbers directly affect your business decisions?
